From June 25 (Sat) to July 24 (Sun), 2022, "Time: TIME BOWIE x KYOTO x SUKITA Returns Masayoshi Sukita Photo Exhibition" will be held at the Museum of Art "Eki" KYOTO, directly connected to JR Kyoto Station.
This exhibition, which opened in April 2021 but was closed in the middle of the exhibition period due to the spread of the new coronavirus, will be held again. Photographer Masayoshi Sukita, who has photographed numerous musicians in Japan and abroad, has been a close friend of David Bowie for about 40 years since meeting him in 1972.
The exhibition will consist of David Bowie's photographs taken in Kyoto in 1980 and his current Kyoto works, following in his footsteps. We invite you to visit the museum to experience a "journey through time and space" of the two artists who spent time together in Kyoto.
