From April 23 (Sat) to June 19 (Sun), 2022, Hosomi Art Museum in Okazaki, Kyoto, will hold an exhibition of works by Yukika Kamisaka, who was active from the Meiji to the early Showa periods.

Sessica Kamisaka is a designer and painter who sympathized with the activities and style of the "Rimpa" school of Japanese art and sublimated them into designs in line with the new era. His activities are not limited to painting, but include dyeing and weaving, ceramics, lacquerware, interior decoration, gardens, and a wide variety of other fields. His generous and warm designs still attract many people today.
Enjoy the modern and lovely world of beauty created by Yukika Kamisaka while tracing the Edo period's Rimpa school.
