This delicatessen, operated by the fresh fish store Yamasada Shoten, features fish as its main ingredient. In addition to the freshness and quality of the fish, the neighborhood is also pleased with the easy-to-buy menu items, such as miniature sashimi and original rice balls made with a lot of care.

The owner, Mr. Nishimura, has been making seasonal menus for 17 years, fulfilling his dream of "someday running an obanzai shop. His bento lunches, available only on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, are filled with side dishes and vegetables, and are so popular that some regulars come back every time to buy them.

This is a specialty restaurant of Uneno, a long-established dashi (Japanese soup stock) company. In addition to the Uneno bento, which is available only on certain days of the week, there are also salmon bento and weekly bento. It is recommended to visit early in the day, as the bentos are often sold out by noon.
Salmon soaked slowly in kelp broth before baking, chikuwa isobe-age (fried chikuwa) and dashimaki tamago (rolled egg), etc., for a well-balanced salmon lunchbox: 1,836 yen (1,870 yen eat-in).
