4. Ranbana-Fu and Oyamazaki Villa: The Passion of a Man Who Lived in the Osaka Era" / Asahi Group Oyamazaki Villa Museum of Art, Osaka, Japan

Until May 12, 2024 (Sun.), "Ranbana Notation and Oyamazaki Villa - The Passion of a Man Who Lived in the Osaka Era" is being held at the [Asahi Group Oyamazaki Villa Museum].
[In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the death of Shotaro Kaga, the creator of the Oyamazaki Villa, this exhibition introduces the "Orchid Album" that he left behind for posterity. The "Orchid Album" is a botanical illustrated book consisting of 104 items: 83 woodblock prints, 14 color illustrations, and 7 monochromatic photographic illustrations. From April 20 (Sat) to May 12 (Sun), 20,000 azaleas will be on display at Mimuroto-ji Temple in Uji, Kyoto. Approximately 20,000 azalea plants will be on display, one of the largest in the Kansai region, with purple, pink and white flowers.
