On Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, 2026, the “Kyoto International Manga and Anime Fair (Kyomafu) 2026,” the largest comprehensive manga, anime, and game trade show in Western Japan, will be held.
At the main venue, [Kyoto City Industrial Promotion Hall Miyako Messe] (Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture), 63 companies and organizations—including TV stations and publishers—will exhibit their works, host mini-events, and sell merchandise. At the second venue, the [Kyoto International Manga Museum], opening hours will be extended by two hours during the “Kyomafu” event, and related programs as well as outdoor screenings of anime films will be held.
In addition, to commemorate the event’s 15th anniversary, 15 special programs will be featured. Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of events, including the sale of commemorative merchandise, the debut of the “Creative Stage” featuring creators and producers, and collaborations with companies and anime series.
