The 51st Kameoka Mitsuhide Festival will be held in Kameoka City, Kyoto, on May 3 (Fri., national holiday), 2024, the largest spring festival in the city, to remember and honor the legacy of Mitsuhide Akechi, a great general in the Warring States period who built the foundation of Kameoka. On the day of the festival, visitors can see a parade of about 400 warriors parade through the old castle town. In addition, at "Kamekita Sanga Plaza," there will be stage performances such as cheerleading and brass band performances, as well as a variety of gourmet foods.
