The 3rd Okazaki Marché -Manufacturing Museum-" will be held at the Kyoto Municipal Industrial Museum Miyakomesse on May 3 (Fri.) and 4 (Sat.), 2024.
A total of 170 booths will be set up over the two days, offering a variety of handmade goods, baked goods, breads, and other items. In addition, eight kitchen cars will be set up where visitors can enjoy freshly prepared sweets, food, and drinks, and live music performances will be held simultaneously with four artists each day.

Takashi Murakami, who is at the forefront of contemporary art, will hold his first solo exhibition in Japan in eight years at the Kyocera Museum of Art in Kyoto from February 3 (Sat) to September 1 (Sun), 2024.

This is the first large-scale solo exhibition outside of Tokyo for Murakami, who has been deeply interested in and inspired by Kyoto, where painters were active during the Edo period.

He is currently working on special versions of works inspired by Japanese art, such as the "Korin" series, as well as a number of new works that reference Kyoto and its history, and approximately 160 of his approximately 170 works will be shown for the first time at this exhibition.
