チーズや味噌などを中心に、滋賀県内の食材を使ったメニューを展開。ゆったりした時間を過ごすことがでる喫茶室をはじめ、3000冊の新刊・古書が並ぶ書籍コーナー、リソグラフの印刷機、ギャラリーや小さな［D&DEPARTMENT］などがある「文化棟」、他にも、チーズと味噌の製造室や、奈良県の［くるみの木］が全国から集めた商品が並ぶストア、体験教室、発酵スタンドまで備え、いろんな楽しみ方ができそう。
