［京都タワーサンド］の1Fにある［果菓 伊藤軒］では、1864（元治元）年創業の和菓子店［伊藤軒］が手掛けるクリームたっぷりのパンケーキや、フルーツを贅沢に使ったパフェを堪能できる。いつも混雑している京都駅周辺の中でも、［京都タワーサンド］は比較的穴場。周辺のカフェよりも遅い時間まで営業しているので、仕事帰りや買い物帰りにも訪れたい。物販コーナーでは、自宅用のおやつや手土産にぴったりの50種類以上のお菓子が揃う。

七条河原町の角に立つ築100年の洋館を改装した［DAVADA COFFEE＆RECORDS］は、地元民や旅行者がひっきりなしに訪れる場所。豊富なジャンルのレコードが約3000枚以上並び、選び始めれば時間が経つのも忘れてしまう。コーヒーは、シングルオリジンとブレンドを数種類ずつ用意。浅煎りで酸味が強いエチオピアと、中深煎りでコクがありバランスの取れたグアテマラは店主イチオシの一杯。テイクアウトの窓口もあるので、観光のついでに立ち寄るのもおすすめ。
