Hilton Garden Inn Kyoto Shijo-Karasuma will celebrate its first anniversary on November 16, 2023. Conveniently located in Shijo-Karasuma, it is a casual hotel that can be visited easily, and has various points of recommendation for daily use not only by tourists but also by locals in Kyoto. This time, we will introduce the limited menu of the restaurant [Together&Co.] offered in commemoration of its first anniversary.
Together&Co. on the first floor of the hotel is an all-day restaurant that can be enjoyed throughout the day, from breakfast to dinner. In September this year, Mr. Toshiyuki Ueno, who has extensive experience as a chef in hotel restaurants and large theme parks, was appointed as the senior head chef. He cares about the environment and the local community, and offers a wide variety of Kyoto ingredients in his cuisine.
The restaurant has 201 seats in a spacious and open space with high ceilings. The menu is based on Western-style cuisine with a Japanese essence, and includes a wide selection of local sake, beer, and wine produced in Kyoto.
In addition, from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the restaurant offers a special free-flow deal of all-you-can-drink drinks such as coffee and tea, which normally cost from 600 yen per cup, for 1,000 yen, allowing customers to enjoy not only meals but also tea time.
Available from November 1 to 25, the "1" will be offered for a limited time to commemorate the first anniversary of thest Anniversary Dinner Course" (6,000 yen per person, available from 2 persons).
This course includes three types of dishes: Kyoto Vegetable Salad with Aya Beetroot Dressing, Seasonal Vegetables and Salmon Cream Penne with Karasumi, and Anniversary Together Plate, allowing you to enjoy a special menu with your loved one at a great price.
The Anniversary Together Plate, served as part of the course, includes the chef's favorite BBQ pork ribs, grilled sea bream, crispy chicken, and French fries, and is a gorgeous celebration dish. The chef's specialty BBQ pork ribs are marinated in an original sauce, grilled, and then deep-fried to make them even richer and tastier. Enjoy it with your choice of three different dipping sauces.
Lunches at Together&Co. range from a reasonably priced quick lunch of 1,500 yen to a course meal.
As with dinner, the first anniversary course "1st Anniversary Lunch Course" (3,500 yen per person, available from one person) is now available.
Dishes include Kyoto vegetable salad, cream penne with seasonal vegetables and salmon, and a choice of one of three main dishes: roasted sea bream, grilled domestic chicken with raspberry sauce, or Kobe beef steak with bubble soy sauce and champirin sauce (+1500 yen).
Free-flowing coffee, tea, and café latte are included after lunch, and tea time (from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.) after the meal is also available. A dessert set can be added to the lunch course for 600 yen, so we recommend enjoying them together. Enjoy a good time with your loved ones without any worries.
Commemorative items for the opening are now available not only for meals but also for drinks. The "Sangria" (1,500 yen), a drink served during celebrations, will be available for five days only on November 3, 10, 16, 23, and 24.
Sangria with fruit soaked in pomegranate syrup can be served with red wine or sparkling wine, and non-alcoholic drinks can be chosen to be served with soda water or juice.
Two rose-inspired cocktails will also be on standby from November 1 to 30. The alcoholic "Beni Ai Crimson love" (1,150 yen) and non-alcoholic "Yui Ai Musubu love" (800 yen) cocktails are designed to express gratitude to visitors to the hotel.
