[Bishamondo] has a long history as a monzeki temple of the Tendai sect. Toyotomi Hideyoshi's mother, Omandokoro, enshrined it in Osaka Castle, and after its completion, Kitamandokoro, his wife, enshrined it at Kodaiji Temple. The stone steps that lead to the Imperial Envoy Gate, which is famous for its maple leaves, are also surrounded by deep greenery, providing a soothing sight.

Komyo-ji is the place where Honen preached the Nembutsu for the first time. [Kyoto Botanical Garden] is Japan's first public comprehensive botanical garden and boasts one of the largest scales in the country. The lush camphor trees near the main gate welcome you in a refreshing way. In the pond around Nakaragi no Mori, green maple leaves are reflected on the surface of the water, and together with the surrounding moss, it creates a mysterious atmosphere. Enjoy seasonal flowers and the fresh green of various trees while taking a leisurely stroll through the vast garden.
