Yakiniku restaurant [Hiroshi] offers a whole cow's worth of wagyu beef by professional connoisseurs who know their beef inside and out. It is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station and offers a popular lunch set until 5:00 p.m. The yakiniku lunch comes with a choice of three types of dishes: homemade kimchi, salad, wakame seaweed soup, and white rice made from specially grown Koshihikari rice.

I want to serve delicious food at a reasonable price. With this in mind, the owner of the restaurant offers a wide selection of sake and excellent dishes prepared by a chef who honed his skills at a Gion ryokan (Japanese inn). Even sake beginners can feel at ease as the owner is always ready to suggest the best sake to go with each dish. A wide variety of menus are available, ranging from appetizers such as Iburi gakko and cream cheese (600 yen) to nine different courses.

This yakiniku restaurant changes the origin of the wagyu beef it purchases from time to time in pursuit of the best taste, and offers handmade original blends of sauce. For lunch, you can enjoy the Kyo-no-Meat Hamburger Set (2,100 yen) or the Kyo-no-Meat Steak Donburi (1,800 yen). For dinner, you can enjoy fine Japanese beef in a relaxed atmosphere. Located near Yasaka Shrine, it is also a good place to visit when sightseeing.

A variety of courses, including steaks made from carefully selected Wagyu beef and hors d'oeuvres with ham, a specialty of the restaurant, are available starting at 5,500 yen for New Year's Day. For a bit of luxury, we also recommend the superb black Wagyu beef hele steak course for 10,450 yen, using the highest grade A5 beef. The restaurant is barrier-free and private rooms are also available, making it a great place for family dinners and celebrations.
