Pontocho's Izakaya [Kyoto Izakaya Pont] is popular for its easy Kawadoko set.
For about 40 years since its establishment, this izakaya has been a favorite of both locals and tourists. The interior of the former teahouse provides a relaxing and casual atmosphere. The menu is full of Kyoto-style dishes.
The easy kawadoko set (3,080 yen) includes Kyoto-style assorted dishes (fu dengaku, yuba, Kyoto pickles, etc.) and obanzai, and for the main dish, you can choose from six different options, including hamo tempura and manganji togarashi.
