"Omi Maiko Nakahama Swimming Area" is one of the largest lake bathing areas with beautiful white sand beaches. It has been selected as one of the eight views of Lake Biwa, and is also famous as the white beach of Omatsuzaki. The green pines continue for 4km, so you can stay cool. The location, which is a 5-minute walk from Omi-Maiko Station to the beach, is also attractive.

The southernmost beach where you can swim in Lake Biwa "Manohama Swimming Area". It is also popular with families as it is shallow and you can enjoy sand play at the water's edge. There is also a pet swimming area. Adults and children alike are having a blast at the annual event "Goza-bashiri", where you can run across a 25-meter mat spread on the surface of the lake!

Takarabune Onsen Family Campsite boasts the beauty of the water. There is also a pet swimming area in the crystal clear lake. The sunset and sunrise are also spectacular, so let's go take a photogenic picture. The quality of the adjacent natural free-flowing hot spring is also excellent, so it is recommended to stop by after swimming.

"SHIRAHIGE BEACH" is located near Shirahige Shrine, which is famous for its large torii gate that towers over the lake. The beach boasts a white sandy beach, and there are plenty of water activities such as water parks, SUP, and canoeing where you can fully enjoy Japan's largest lake, Lake Biwa.

"Makino Sunny Beach" spreads out in front of you the two great scenic spots of Chikubushima and Kaizu Osaki, which are counted as one of the eight views of Lake Biwa. In addition to the clean water and beach selected as one of the 100 best beaches in Japan, the pine forest that stretches for several kilometers creates a beautiful landscape. The view from the iconic 13-meter-high observatory, Lake Terrace, is also spectacular.

Heading north from Imazu Port, where regular sightseeing boats bound for Chikubushima arrive and depart, along the lakeshore, Imazuhama Beach is characterized by its beautiful beach covered with green pine trees. The beach is shallow with gentle waves and has good water quality, and is lined with pine forests in the west of the lake that have been selected as one of the 100 scenic views of the lake. It is the perfect resort for a relaxing and private vacation.
