Manga artist Murakami Motoka has continued to deeply impress readers with his speedy and bold depictions, delicate emotional expressions that reflect the feelings of the characters, and clever storylines that keep readers guessing.
This exhibition will introduce his 50-year history of challenging various genres, including "JIN" and "Chivalrous Doctor Fuyuma," medical romances at the end of the Edo period, and "Ryu-RON," a work depicting the modern history of Japan and China on an epic scale.
The exhibition is composed of a total of approximately 330 original drawings that show the delicate and bold touch of the pen and the gorgeous and delicate colors of the color works, which can only be appreciated by viewing the original drawings. A collection of famous scenes selected by the artist and a commentary corner that takes a closer look behind the scenes of the production will also be available.
