“Kirby's Star Box from the Fountain of Dreams,” a collaboration between the popular "Kirby" video game series and [Tsuruya Yoshinobu], will make a limited-time comeback starting Tuesday, July 1, 2025. First released in January 2023 to great acclaim, this set is packed with dry sweets—such as rakugan and amber candy—inspired by the game’s world. In particular, the rakugan—made using traditional wooden molds—features three original molds (Kirby, the Fountain of Dreams, and a star) that were created specifically for this product. Additionally, “Kirby’s Round Handmade Monaka,” which has been on sale since the summer of 2019 and is celebrating its 6th anniversary this year, remains available and continues to attract attention. Be sure to check out these “yume-kawa” sweets, each carefully crafted by hand by Kyoto confectionery artisans.
