There is also a take-out window, so it is easy to use while commuting to school or work or by bicycle.

Located on the 3rd floor of a building near the Kameoka City Library, this cafe offers a view of Kameoka's rich natural scenery from the window. You can spend a relaxing time while enjoying a menu that uses organic vegetables grown by farmers in the city. Filled with taco rice with beautiful colors and rice ball sets using fermented foods.

A flower shop with a brilliant sense, such as the dried flower decoration for the ceiling of [Pepin CAFE] in the same building. Mainly fresh flowers, they sell succulents, homemade dried flowers, vases, pots and other miscellaneous goods. It is also recommended to ask the owner to make a bouquet for you.

A historic shrine that is said to have been built in the early Nara period. Historical dramas such as movies and dramas are often filmed, and the main shrine stands quietly surrounded by trees, creating a mystical atmosphere. Turtles can be seen here and there, such as on the plaques of torii gates and the bases of lanterns, so it's fun to look for turtles hiding in the precincts.

Kameoka's new specialty Kameyaki appears in front of Hasuta Shrine. They are baked one by one in a mold made by actually taking a mold of the minogame attached to the torii gate of Hasuta Shrine. Naturally cultivated wheat from Nantan, Tamba Dainagon adzuki beans, and plain sugar are used. Eggs and milk are not used, so I am happy that many people can enjoy it.

An ancient shrine that is said to have been built in 709. The main hall, which exudes a solemn atmosphere, was rebuilt in 1814. On the left is Kuwayamagu Shrine, which enshrines Omi no Takakami, and on the right, Hachimangu Shrine enshrines Honda Besson. It is a famous spot for autumn leaves, and the green maple leaves are beautiful from spring to summer.

The ancient temple of the 21st Reisho of the Saigoku Sanjusansho. The statue of Shaka Nyorai reclining in nirvana, made in the Kamakura period, which is enshrined in the main hall, is called 'Nadebutsu' because it can be directly touched, and is believed to cure illness. The garden, designated as a scenic spot by Kyoto Prefecture, which can be seen from the study, was created in the Edo period. Be soothed by the splendid garden where seasonal plants and old trees add flavor.

You can rent a bicycle at the south exit of JR Kameoka Station. Enjoy a tour of Kameoka while fully enjoying nature on an electric bicycle that can be ridden easily on slopes.
