京都・梅小路に列車型エンタメレストラン［FUTURE TRAIN（フューチャートレイン）］が誕生！

2025年8月20日（水）に、日本初の廃線高架上レストラン［FUTURE TRAIN］（京都府京都市下京区）がオープンする。2016年に廃線となったJR梅小路短絡線の跡地［梅小路ハイライン］に誕生するこちらは、1〜3号車の車両を使った列車型エンタメレストラン。特急サンダーバードを再活用した車内で、「KYOTO ダイナー」をテーマに京都の食材や文化を融合させたオリジナルメニューが楽しめる。今回は2・3号車の飲食エリアを先行公開し、アート空間が楽しめる1号車は9月下旬にオープン予定となっている。全長約90mの高架空間で“未来行き”の列車として再出発する［FUTURE TRAIN］に注目してみて。
