Yanggok-ji Temple was founded in 806 (Daido-gen) in the early Heian period (794-1185) by priest Enchin, the founder of Kiyomizu-dera Temple.
During the lighting-up period, the Kamishoin will be open to the public and limited red seals will be conferred. Visitors can also view the "Hana-Tezui" (flower water with hands), which has become a hot topic on SNS and in magazines, and an exhibition of temple treasures representing the present world and the next world that have been handed down from generation to generation.

Tofukuji Temple is the head temple of the Tofukuji School of the Rinzai Sect of Zen Buddhism and boasts a magnificent temple complex.

The Tsutenkyo Bridge and the Hachiso-no-niwa (eight-phase garden) are the highlight of the autumn foliage illumination. The vermilion-painted Shinkyō Hōtō and the surrounding maple trees are reflected in the surface of Hōshō-ike Pond.
