Stylish bistro bar [130R (Hyakusanjyu-R)] opened in Shijo Omiya, Kyoto.

Opened in the fall of 2024 in Shijo Omiya ([130R], Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture), this bar was launched by Mr. Fujino, the owner, who previously worked at the popular Shijo Kawaramachi bar [Budoya tsk] before striking out on his own. The concept is a place that’s part bistro, part izakaya. It offers a casual setting where guests can enjoy creative dishes based on French cuisine.
The long, deep interior is a stylish space where blue accents stand out against the concrete. With plenty of counter seating, the atmosphere makes it easy to drop in even if you're alone.
The Assorted Appetizers (1,000 yen) is a popular dish featuring carrot salad, marinated mushrooms, a lettuce salad, and a quiche with eel and spinach.
This classic appetizer platter, perfect for enjoying with wine, features three appetizers—including carrot rapé—and your choice of either quiche or pâté de campagne.
The Hanpen Knödel (900 yen) is an original dish created from the owner’s own idea. Its fluffy texture and mellow flavor are simply irresistible.
In addition, the “hanpen quenelle”—a dish that substitutes hanpen for the French quenelle—features fluffy hanpen generously coated in creamy American sauce. Savor this original, creative dish, born from a unique concept, to your heart’s content.
