TEA WAVE, an organic matcha and Japanese green tea specialty store established in Kagoshima and expanding its store network in Kyushu, landed in Honshu for the first time.

The store is attached to an art gallery [MINATO / COCO Gallery KYOTO] in Kiyamachi, where you can enjoy drinks and sweets while viewing art in a stylish interior. 2F to 4F are used as eat-in space, and the store interior with art works scattered around it looks great in photos. The shop is decorated with works of art and is a great place to take pictures.

Although inorganic, the space is stylish with Japanese elements scattered everywhere, such as bonsai trees and hanging scrolls.

Sweets such as matcha baschi and matcha affogado made with organic first-grade matcha powder can be enjoyed.

The popular classic menu item, matcha pudding, is a matcha-rich pudding topped with matcha ice cream and a generous dollop of matcha sauce. The pudding is made with two layers of custard and matcha green tea, and is characterized by its firm and sticky texture. The pudding is served with a layer of custard and a layer of green tea ice cream, and the taste of the green tea can be appreciated even more when eaten with the green tea ice cream on top.

We also have a full menu of drinks, including matcha lattes, roasted tea from Chiran, Kagoshima, and sencha.

As the name suggests, the set of matcha green tea and fresh confections, available only at the Kyoto store, is full of Kyoto-like atmosphere with matcha green tea and Japanese confections. Recommended for those who simply want to taste matcha.
