Located in a corner of a building just a short walk from JR Zeze Station, the stylish café [YUREL] (Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture) opened in the summer of 2024. The café is run by a barista who gained experience at popular Kyoto coffee shops such as [ARABICA Kyoto] and an interior designer who has been friends with the barista since college.

The interior features an urban atmosphere with a white-and-blue color scheme, highlighted by an eye-catching blue main counter reminiscent of the surface of Lake Biwa. Sunlight streams in through the large glass windows, allowing you to enjoy your coffee in this open, airy space.

The coffee served at the shop is made using beans from [Kaffe TaK] and [MATSUBARA COFFEE], two specialty coffee roasters based in Otsu City. Guests can enjoy a wide variety of beverages, ranging from espresso-based drinks like café lattes and Americanos to hand-drip coffee.

A café latte for 600 yen and a caramel banana cake (with ice cream) for 800 yen are a popular combination. You can top the pound cake with either ice cream or espresso.
