Isshin Chabo (Isshin Tea House) and Isshin Steamed Buns in Nagahama...
On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, this nationally renowned chicken soup restaurant moved to a new location on the main street extending east from Nagahama Station. The line in front of the restaurant is as popular as ever, and the soup has been made more satisfying by avoiding additives as much as possible. Chicken bones in paste form are added to the soup, which is made by cooking chicken bones and momiji mushrooms from Miyazaki Prefecture for about seven hours and letting them sit for a day. The soup is so concentrated with chicken flavor that it is easy to drink. The restaurant also boasts of its homemade noodles, made from a blend of domestic "Haruyokoi" and "Kitahonami" wheat. The restaurant also offers whimsical limited edition noodles made with Omi beef and truffles.
