Kokon Chuka Bunshiki is located a short walk from JR Umekoji Kyoto Nishi Station. The reason for choosing this location was to have a restaurant where families can casually visit in the area around the station, which is undergoing development. The lunch recommendation is the lunch of daily-changing stir-fried dishes. The menu changes daily from main dishes such as stir-fried shrimp with chili sauce and black vinegar pork, to standard Chinese dishes such as shrimp dumplings and meat siu-mai (Chinese dumpling).
