A block of Miyazaki pork is carefully cut each time an order comes in. Bread crumbs are specially ordered from a specialty restaurant [Nakaya] for the white batter, and the pork cutlets are deep-fried at 140 to 150 degrees in a proprietary blend of lard and rice oil before being preheated and placed on a plate. The owner, Mr. Kuwabara, spares no effort in creating the ideal pork cutlet.
The pork cutlet set menus come in two varieties: the refined loin, with no trace of fiber, and the filet, which is moist and has a strong feast feeling. Other set menus, such as the fried horse mackerel set meal, come with a small bowl of cooked rice and soup, with free refills of rice and cabbage. At night, enjoy a la carte dishes such as crab and crab miso cream croquettes, or spend your free time in a private room on the second floor, where a 3-hour all-you-can-drink course for 7,000 yen is also popular.
