This popular sushi restaurant is run by the owner, who has been in the business for 30 years and trained at long-established Kansai-style sushi restaurants in Kyoto and Osaka. The specialty is oshizushi and makizushi made with carefully selected ingredients such as sea bream from the Seto Inland Sea and mackerel from Chiba. In April, a souvenir store opened in Honke Yatsuhashi near Arashiyama Station on the Arashiyama Line. Saba-zushi (mackerel sushi) and other items are now readily available for purchase.
