2026年5月29日（金）〜7月5日（日）の期間、［東福寺］（京都府京都市東山区）で特別夜間拝観イベント『ZEN NIGHT 東福寺』が開催される。
『ZEN NIGHT』は、歴史ある禅寺を舞台にした没入型のサウンドアートナイト体験イベント。［東福寺］を象徴するライトアップされた約1000本の青紅葉を通天橋から眺める「爽風の道」のほか、重森三玲作庭の方丈庭園に大規模な雲海が出現する「風龍の舞」など、脳科学で実証された音・光・静寂・自然を通じて、“脳と心がととのう”体験をすることができるという。
また「ニューロミュージック坐禅」では、脳波計測デバイスを装着して坐禅をすることで、自身の脳の状態がリアルタイムにビジュアル化され、音声と映像として可視化される体験型瞑想空間を楽しめるそう。
歴史ある禅寺で、禅とテクノロジーが融合した新しい没入体験をしてみては。
