京都・清水寺で書かれた“時代を映す一文字”『今年の漢字®展』／漢字ミュージアム

2025年10月21日（火）～2026年2月23日（月・祝）の期間で、［漢検 漢字博物館・図書館（漢字ミュージアム）］（京都府京都市東山区）2F企画展示室にて、『今年の漢字®展』が開催される。1995年から2024年まで毎年揮毫されてきた「今年の漢字」の大書が一堂に会し、その年ごとの出来事や人々の思いを映す“漢字の記録”を振り返ることができる内容となっている。額縁のデザインや、実際に使われた筆・墨入れなどの資料も公開され、揮毫の舞台裏を知ることができるのも見どころだ。
2025年の「今年の漢字」は12月12日（金）に京都・清水寺で揮毫され、12月23日（火）から新たに公開される予定。京都の地で、時代を映す一文字の重みを感じてみて。
