In commemoration of the opening (April 5, 2024-) of the Cinema Kabuki production of the much talked-about new Kabuki play "Touken Ranbu Tsuki no Tsurugi e no Kishinokiri no Haha" that thrilled the Shimbashi Enbujo Theater in July 2023, a new Kabuki "Touken Ranbu" costume exhibition will be held at the Minamiza Theater in Kyoto from April 13 (Saturday) to May 6 (Monday, holiday), 2024. Ranbu" will be held from April 13, 2024 (Sat.) to May 6, 2024 (national holiday) at Kyoto's Minamiza Theater.

The "Sword Dance" has expanded its media mix from stage to musical, anime and live-action film, and has finally been adapted into a kabuki play, which has become a hot topic. Costumes and props used in the play will be on display, and original goods and a gorgeous catalog containing a rare script will be on sale. In addition, visitors can walk down the flower aisle and take commemorative photos on a stage that recreates an actual scene from the play, allowing them to enjoy the theater in all its glory.

In addition, a new voice project recorded by Munechika Mikazuki (cv. Kosuke Toriumi) of "Sword Dance ONLINE" has been decided for this exhibition! All visitors are welcome to enjoy Munechika's comments by reading the exhibits with the designated application for smartphones.

On April 12 (Fri.), a "Pre-Opening Commemorative Talk Show" featuring Kabuki actors Matsuya Onoe and Ukon Onoe will be held. You will be able to hear the reason for the stage adaptation, behind-the-scenes stories about the rehearsals and the performance at the Shinbashi Enbujo Theater, and other secret stories that can only be heard at this event.
