Amour du Chocolat," an annual chocolate festival with approximately 160 brands, will be held at the Kyoto Takashimaya Department Store from January 20 (Fri.) to February 14 (Tue.), 2023.
Attention is focused on chocolates made in collaboration between Alain Ducasse of France and Kyoto ingredients, as well as chocolates only available at Kyoto Takashimaya, which will be on sale from February 1 and are the result of collaborations among Japan's top class chocolatiers from Club Harrier, Assemblage Kamimoto, and Chocolatier Hisashi.

In addition to traditional prestigious brands and world-class chocolates, there will also be "delicious and sustainable chocolates" that address environmental and social issues such as food loss, which is attracting more and more attention. The event will also feature a variety of chocolates from overseas brands that are only available at this time of the year, as well as gems from chocolatiers that have caught the attention of Takashimaya buyers.
