KYOTOGRAPHIE Kyoto International Photography Festival," featuring works by up-and-coming artists from Japan and abroad and a valuable collection of photographs, is currently being held at Nijo Castle, the Kyoto Museum of Kyoto Annex, ASPHODEL, and other historical buildings and modern and contemporary architecture in Kyoto City.

The theme for 2021 is ECHO. Participating artists in the main program include Irwin Olaf, Rong Rong & Yingli, and Yuna Yagi. Five artists from Japan and abroad will participate in the "Echo of 2011: Five Exhibits Echoing 2011 to the Present," a tribute to the Great East Japan Earthquake. The "KG +" program, which aims to discover and support up-and-coming photographers and curators, as well as the "Agnès Bé's Photography Exhibition" and other associated programs, will also be of interest.
