Inahiko Coffee (Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture), a café combining traditional Japanese beauty and modern Japanese sweets, will open on September 12, 2025 (Friday). The signature product is "Black x Strawberry Mix," a bright red and black soft serve ice cream inspired by the vermilion color of the Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine. The vermilion color of fresh strawberries is layered with a deep black color made from a blend of three types of chocolate from Spain, and served in a cone kneaded with bamboo charcoal. The contrast of the black stands out and can be enjoyed as if it were a work of art.
In addition, an opening campaign will be held from September 12 (Fri.) to 18 (Thu.), 2025. The campaign will offer a special deal where customers can purchase their favorite soft-serve ice cream for only 100 yen! Try this new specialty along with a drink menu using beans from popular Hokkaido roaster Morihiko Coffee.
