[The Kyoto Shin Hankyu Hotel (Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) will hold an autumn fair from September 4, 2025 (Thursday), where you can enjoy a variety of mushrooms and other seasonal delicacies in a half-buffet style. The autumn buffet will be full of the perfect accompaniment to this season, when the heat eases and appetites return.
The menu also offers luxurious dishes such as "Salmon Ekaie Style with Autumn Swordfish and Daikoku Honjimeji Salad in Rosemary White Wine Sauce" (+500 yen), "Chicken Thigh Galantine with Truffle Red Wine Sauce" (+500 yen) and "Steamed in earthen pot with Matsutake Mushrooms" (+500 yen), available only for dinner.
For lunch, look out for the "Shrimp and Mushroom Tempura" (lunch only), truffle omelette (lunch only on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays), and other dishes prepared in front of your eyes. Expect to see the chef's skills up close and personal. For dinner only, the restaurant also offers a table-order menu where freshly prepared dishes are delivered to your table. The five-course menu includes "assorted nigiri-zushi," "grilled beef shabu-shabu sushi," "sea bream shabu-shabu," and more. You can enjoy a special experience that is different from that of lunch.
