If you want to exercise, go to the "LEISURE AREA," where you will find a fluffy dome and a net athletic track in the great nature spreading out before you, and children will surely run out to play. Gazebos are placed around the playground equipment to provide a place to rest and watch over the children. PLAYING FIELD, which offers about 50 different kinds of playthings, including bouldering, trackout, soccer PK games, and target practice, is also located here. A new spot, TEKUTEKU ROAD, is also a hiking course that allows visitors to fully enjoy the view of the Rurikei plateau.

This area also offers baby carriage activities (fee required, reservations possible) that can be ridden by one person from age 10, year-round illumination at Synastasia Hills (fee required, sunset to 10pm), and an all-weather highland BBQ available for both day-trippers and overnight guests.

The main feature of SPA AREA is the natural hot spring bath "Ruriyu," which is also open to day-trippers. The baths have been renovated into a luxurious space where visitors can spend a relaxing and healing moment. The hot spring baths, which can be entered wearing swimsuits, offer a variety of bathing facilities, including open-air baths, saunas, and jet baths, and are mixed, so families and couples can enjoy them together.

Ruriyu Food Park in the "SPA AREA" is a great place to stop by before or after a hot spring bath. Specialty stores such as ramen noodle stores and donut stores have opened food court-style stores, offering a total of 100 different kinds of Japanese, Western, teppan, and dessert menus. The tablet ordering system is also a key point of renewal. The food park also offers many dishes using local ingredients, such as milk curry made from Miyama milk, noodles topped with Tanba shimeji mushrooms, and kinako pudding made from Tanba black soybeans. Children's lunches are also available, so feel free to stop by.

SPA AREA also offers a full range of relaxation facilities and a collection of 20,000 books. A picture book room is now available on the Lantern Terrace, where visitors can enjoy reading on sofas or in private rooms, and children will never be bored. The Lantern Terrace is also equipped with three types of bedrock baths at different temperatures: the Hidamari Room, where you can relax with your phone and books at about 40 degrees Celsius; the Nekorobi Room, where you can warm yourself from the core at about 50 degrees Celsius; and the Burning Room, a genuine bedrock bath where you can work up a good sweat at about 60 degrees Celsius. WOODMAN LOUNGE is located in the newly constructed RIVER SIDE AREA. Not only can you enjoy a variety of activities such as darts, billiards, table tennis, board games, and card games, but you can also enjoy free-flowing drinks. With a drink or soft drink in hand, adults and children alike can enjoy their free time to their heart's content. There is no reason not to stop by the lounge where you can spend a special time while relaxing with your friends.

One of the main attractions is the wide variety of lodging facilities, including glamping facilities as well as renovated ryokan (Japanese-style inns), that can be selected to suit any occasion.

Ryokan Kobushi, which offers private baths and seasonal kaiseki cuisine, has changed the style of its rooms to Japanese/Western-style rooms incorporating Kyoto's traditional fusuma paper "Kyo-karami". Guests are welcomed in atmospheric rooms with "Kyo-karami" artwork and beds. The private baths and restaurant, which are available only to guests, have also been renovated. The ryokan facility is recommended for those who want to enjoy nature at camp, but also want to be treated with hot spring baths and meals, and to sleep in a spacious bed.
