From March 1, 2023 (Wed.), various events will be held at GOOD NATURE STATION, the symbol of Shijo-Kawaramachi, in anticipation of the spring season. There will be plenty of contents for both children and adults to enjoy spring to the fullest.

1.Photo spot filled with mimosa, the symbolic flower of spring

In conjunction with International Women's Day on March 8 (Wed.), a photo spot featuring a generous use of dried mimosa, a flower that symbolizes spring, will make its debut. The bright and gentle yellow color of mimosa invites the viewer's heart to spring and makes them feel as if they are visiting a flower garden. Take lots of photos and post them on SNS.

2.Held again this year! Strawberry Picking Experience in the City

The strawberry picking event, which was very popular last year, will be held again this year on March 18 (Sat), 26 (Sun), and April 9 (Sun), with Yamashina strawberry farmer Utsumi Farm appearing at "MAENIWA" on the 1st floor. On the day of the event, those who bring a receipt for purchases of 3,000 yen (tax included) or more within the museum can participate once per person. Please enjoy this rare opportunity to experience strawberry picking in the city.

In the "Kikkake Experience," a collection of events and workshops that provide a wonderful opportunity to add color to daily life, visitors can experience strawberry picking at Kamimura Farm in Yawata City, Kyoto Prefecture. Visitors can experience picking organic strawberries, which are extremely rare and account for only 0.002% of the total strawberry harvest in Japan, while listening to a talk about techniques for growing strawberries without using pesticides.
