[Kyoto - A Hole in the Map of Autumn Foliage - Temples and Spots I Don't Really Want to Tell You About

Kyoto is in the season of autumn foliage. Although we would like to see beautiful autumn leaves, we would like to avoid the crowds if possible.
In this issue, we will introduce selected autumn foliage spots recommended by our local editorial department as "hole-in-the-wall" spots from our autumn foliage specials.

6. Myokenji Temple, known for its four gardens of different styles / Nishijin

Myokenji Temple was the first temple of Nichiren Shoshu in Kyoto and was Hideyoshi's permanent residence. Visitors can try their hand at copying a passage from the Lotus Sutra, the most important of Buddha's teachings, in the sutra copying experience, or visit one of the four different gardens and experience the beauty of the four seasons.
