Bokennomori TAIYOGAOKA, which opened in April 2021, is located in the Yamashiro Sports Park, also known as "Taiyo-no-oka. It is well known as a spot where people of all ages, from adults to children, can enjoy extraordinary activities.

Walking up the hill from Parking Lot 1, just outside the Uji Vehicle Gate on the north side of the park, and walking along a path surrounded by forest, you will see an arboreal athletic complex utilizing natural trees spread out before your eyes. The "Tree Top Adventure," which offers an extraordinary sensation in the trees, has an adventure course and a challenge course. There are also tree-shade adventures that can be enjoyed without a harness, bag jumps, trampolines, and many other activities that can be enjoyed throughout the day. Sandals and skirts are not allowed, and gloves are required (rental available for a fee).

Yamashiro Outdoor Living is located next to Boken-no-mori and can be used for rest or meals. There are sofa sites and tarp sites, and an American charcoal grill is available for lunch and dinner with reservations required for each.

If you don't want to bring anything, there is a plan that includes food, so you can go empty-handed.

My recommendation is to enjoy playing at Boken-no-mori until the evening and then use the site from 5:00 p.m. for a night BBQ. During GW, lunch time is the most popular time, but dinner time reservations are relatively easy to get, so be sure to try it.
