宇治・小倉の［TEA SQUARE MORIHAN］でお茶の美味しさを堪能

1836年創業、茶の製造・販売を手掛ける宇治の老舗茶舗［森半］（京都府宇治市）。どっしりとした店構えの店舗建物が2022年に宇治市景観重要建造物に指定され、価値ある空間を有効活用したいと複合施設をオープンした。
宇治茶品評会で農林水産大臣賞を受賞した玉露や煎茶などのドリンクのほか、自社で挽いた抹茶や焙じ茶を使ったどら焼きといった上質な茶葉を使用したお菓子もおすすめ。
「見る香る五感で楽しむお茶広場」をコンセプトに、茶師がお茶の品質の審査を行う拝見場や新茶のバーバリウムの展示など、宇治茶の世界を紹介する新しい試みも行われている。
フリースペースのKAORIUMでは、人気の生どら焼きや抹茶モンブランソフトなど、自慢の自家製スイーツを堪能できる
