Kyo Ryori Isobe (Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) opened in Maruyama Park to offer a casual taste of authentic Kyoto cuisine not only for special occasions. While preserving tradition, the restaurant is always challenging itself to try new things, and places importance on making Kyoto cuisine accessible to locals and tourists alike.

The Kyoto Yuba Zukushi (3,300 yen) features an array of dishes made with seasonal ingredients, including yuba, which is a special delicacy of the restaurant. Tempura and sashimi can be added for an extra charge.

The menu features a variety of Kyoto-style dishes that bring out the true flavor of yuba by using cooking methods that suit the ingredients, such as raw yuba served with sesame sauce or soy sauce, and yuba soaked in kombu dashi (kelp broth). The yuba is carefully produced in the restaurant's yuba kitchen using the finest Japanese soybeans, and its creamy texture is very appealing.

We have kotatsu (table placed over a sunken table) and zashiki (tatami room) seating available to accommodate a variety of occasions.
