［Biwako Terrace Café360, a view spot located at the top of Mount Horai, the highest point in the Biwako Valley, will undergo a complete renovation and grand opening on July 5, 2025 (Saturday). Under the theme of "new and spectacular views yet to be seen," it will be reborn as a new spot with a 360-degree panoramic view of Lake Biwa, the Hira mountain range, the cities of Kyoto and Osaka, and the mountains on the Sea of Japan coast, complete with hammocks and a trailer cafe. Café 360 was previously open only during the green season, but after the renovation, it will be open during the winter as well, so visitors can expect a spectacular view of snow-capped mountains in the future.
