2025年6月24日（火）から、近畿地区の［ローソン］にて7月1日の「びわ湖の日」を記念した商品の販売がスタートする。滋賀県産近江牛を具材にしたおにぎりや、滋賀県産いちご・みおしずくのピューレ入りジャムを使用したシュークリームなど滋賀県産食材を使用した4商品が登場。すべての商品パッケージには「びわ湖の日」ロゴマークがあしらわれている。
「びわ湖の日」は1980年に滋賀県が制定した環境保全を考える日。ローソンでは2019年から毎年この日に合わせた限定商品を展開しており、地元の食材を身近な形で楽しめる取り組みとして親しまれている。季節の味わいとともに、滋賀の魅力に触れてみては。
