The owner, a native of Syria who came to Japan about 25 years ago, opened the restaurant of his dreams after honing his culinary skills over many years. The restaurant's beautiful interior and water pipes, which were imported from the region, make diners feel as if they have been transported to the Middle East.

Syrian cuisine, renowned as a country of gourmets, is richly colored and full of herbs and spices. Kebabs are marinated in 16 different spices and fruit juices before baking, and the Syrian style of cooking takes a lot of time and effort.
