Sumikura café was started in 2017 by Sumikura, a construction company [Sumikuraku], in the hope that it would become a space where people can enjoy a meal while feeling the warmth of wood. Through the large windows, you can enjoy the seasonal changes of cherry blossoms in spring and fresh greenery in summer, along with the natural beauty of the Kamo River. A wood-burning stove is installed inside the café, and the small garden overflowing with greenery is not to be missed.
