The owner, Junko Arita, took over the space of the pure coffee shop that had been popular here until last year and started a new store, keeping the furniture and wall reliefs.

Ms. Arita, who has the unique background of having worked as a nurse for 26 years, says, "It has been my dream since I was a child to own a cafe, and I hope to continue the cafe until I am 80 years old and one day turn it into a real pure coffee shop.
