The 51st Kameoka Mitsuhide Festival will be held in Kameoka City, Kyoto, on May 3 (Fri., national holiday), 2024, the largest spring festival in the city, to remember and honor the legacy of Mitsuhide Akechi, a great general in the Warring States period who built the foundation of Kameoka. On the day of the festival, visitors can see a parade of about 400 warriors parade through the old castle town.
