Kenninji Temple

Kenninji Temple is the oldest Zen temple in Kyoto and one of the five temples of Kyoto. The temple is one of Kyoto's oldest Zen temples and one of the Kyoto Gozan (five mountains). The special autumn viewing program will be held from November 30 (Sat.) to December 14 (Sat.), 2024, with advance reservations. Enjoy the illumination of the maple leaves and lighthouse azaleas turning red and yellow.
