Asahi Pottery has been producing ceramics for about 400 years in Uji, Kyoto, which is known as a tea production center. The "Asahi Pottery 423 Exhibition" is being held from April 26 (Wed) to May 14 (Sun), 2023, at Koseiji Temple, a Zen meditation hall of the Soto sect of Buddhism, which has close ties to Uji's tea culture and Asahi Pottery, in the hope of creating an opportunity to pass Uji's tea culture on to the next generation.
