Miyama Kayabuki-no-Sato, lined with houses with kayabuki roofs, has been selected as a national Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. The nostalgic scenery attracts many tourists from all over Japan and abroad, as well as from Kyoto City.

In 2023, the snow lantern making experience (100 yen/person) and fireworks display will return for the first time in three years to light up the winter night sky. Come and be enveloped in the fantastic world created by the winter Kayabuki-no-Sato and the winter fireworks.
