2026年2月21日（土）〜3月30日（月）の期間、JR京都駅ビル併設の［美術館「えき」KYOTO］（京都府京都市下京区）にて、『ヤマザキマリの世界』が開催される。「テルマエ・ロマエ」をはじめとする漫画のほか、肖像画やエッセイなどを手掛け、幅広く活動するヤマザキマリ氏を「漫画家・画家・著述家」という3つの側面から紹介する展覧会だ。会場では、「テルマエ・ロマエ」の手描き原稿や、山下達郎の「SOFTLY」（2022年）ジャケット用に描かれた油彩肖像画、著作活動の記録など多彩な作品が登場。活動のインスピレーションの源泉を辿りながら、作品の魅力に触れられる内容に注目して。
