The second edition of the highly popular bar event will be held at the commercial facility [Kyoto Avanti] in front of Kyoto Station! This year's event, titled "Kujo Expo Abacica Bar Night," will be held under the theme of SDGs. For three days, enjoy Kyoto Brewing's craft beer served in reusable and recycled cups and food made from substandard vegetables, while having fun eating and drinking to think about the future and connect to it. On the last day, you can also enjoy a lunchtime drink at a food stall, so feel free to drop by.
The restaurant area [abachica] on the B1F, where the event will be held, is a hot spot that was recently renovated in March of this year! A wide variety of restaurants such as yakitori, seafood, shish-kebabs, Japanese food, etc. are lined up. At bar-style events, you can casually enjoy small plates of each restaurant's popular menu, so it is a great opportunity to taste a variety of dishes. There are also event-only menus that use non-standard vegetables and local ingredients that are not available in the market, all of which go great with alcohol!

The 1st Abacicabal night was crowded with many people, and the magic show was a big hit.
The main feature of "Kujo Expo Abacica Bal Night" is that it is not only about enjoying gourmet food and music, but also about the SDGs, which are actually the theme of the Osaka-Kansai Expo. However, it is not a difficult project, and there are many mechanisms to make participation easy, tasty, and fun, such as drinking beer in recyclable eco-cups and enjoying a dish made from ingredients that are scheduled to be disposed of! On the final day of the event, local stores from Higashi Kujo will appear at food stalls, allowing visitors to enjoy local delicacies and support local businesses. The unique charm of this event is that a delicious time becomes an "experience that leads to the future. With a Bar Ticket, visitors can also experience "cotton ball making" and "super ball scooping" for children, which can be enjoyed by local residents of all three generations.
The event will be held for three days from September 19 (Fri.) to 21 (Sun.), 2025. 21 (Sun.) will be the first time for the event to be held outdoors for daytime drinking. This is a great opportunity to experience a different sense of openness from the nighttime events.
